Terms of Use

1. What this is

These terms govern your use of the Domino app (“the Game”) and of this website. By installing or using the Game you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Game.

2. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial use. You may not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute it, nor decompile, reverse-engineer or extract its assets except where that right cannot be excluded by law.

3. Intellectual property

The Game — its source code, artwork, sounds, text and the arrangement of them — is © 2026 Mikhail A. Matveev. The rules of dominoes are, of course, nobody's property; this particular implementation of them is.

4. Online play

The multiplayer service is provided as it stands and free of charge. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue it. Do not use it to harass other players, to disrupt matches, or to attack or overload the service. We may refuse or terminate access where that happens.

5. Display names

You choose the name other players see. Do not choose one that is unlawful, that impersonates somebody else, or that is obviously offensive. Names are not reserved and are not accounts: anybody may enter any name.

6. No warranty

The Game is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Game. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, or under mandatory product-liability law.

8. Purchases

The Game is free to download, free to play and contains no advertising. It offers one optional in-app purchase — the full version, which unlocks the Master opponent, opening an online room of your own, the individual agreements and the other table felts. It is bought once, never expires, and is not a subscription.

The purchase is tied to the Apple or Google account it was made from, and Restore purchase returns it on a new device. Because the payment is taken by the store and not by us, refunds are requested from that store and granted under its policy: the Developer and the Publisher cannot issue them directly. This does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the Game changes. The current version is always the one on this page, with its effective date at the top.

10. Governing law

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and without depriving you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your habitual residence.
